Using my powers for good instead of evil

I admit it. I currently make my living in the commercial sector.

It's not fantastic work, but it pays the bills and will allow me to one day (after March 3) slide gently back into doing work for nonprofits.

I got an email from my favorite writer asking me when my non compete was up, and then swearing at me when it wasn't soon enough to work on her latest package.

I must admit I was sorely tempted to say the hell with the non compete, we're only 30 days out, let's do it, but I've been keeping to the letter of the agreement for 11+ months, so I might as well see it through.

I really do want to be back making a difference for causes I believe in, and though some of you make think of it as junk mail, I still choose to see it as providing someone with an opportunity to be a better person.
